Neurology Opportunity in San Antonio, Texas - Utilize ANY State License

 

Humana Military Healthcare Services is offering an excellent opportunity for a General/Adult Neurologist to care for active and non-active duty soldiers at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX.    All Adults/Tricare Patients.

 

Duties/Experience:  Have sufficient experience to be able to adequately diagnose and treat diseases and injuries to include, but not limited to, the following: Migraine, epilepsy, radiculopathy, peripheral neuropathy, vertigo, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease.  Have sufficient experience to be able to adequately perform the following medical procedures, to include, but not limited to, the following: Electroencephalograms (EEGs), nerve conduction studies, and botulinum toxin  injections.

 

 

Outpatient Setting - Clinic Hours - M-F 7:30 to 4:30.  Shared inpatient call q 4-6 weekends.

  

Very Competitive Hourly Rate as Independent Contractor; Medical malpractice coverage with Lifetime Tail. 

 

Qualifications:  MD/DO must be BE or BC in Adult Neurology, recent direct patient care experience (2 of last 3 years), active/unrestricted license in any of the 50 States or U.S. Territories.  Must be U.S. Citizen, as per U.S. Government guidelines.
