Full Time Psychiatrists Needed to provide full-time outpatient and psychiatry consultation services to active duty and retired personnel and their family members at Brooke Army Medical Center located in San Antonio, TX.  A great opportunity to give back to those who have served our great nation.

100% Outpatient

M-F 7:30 to 4:30

No Call, No Nights, No Weekends

Closed Federal Holidays

All Tricare Patients

Utilize any State License

 

 

Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatry.  Additional requirements include: active/unrestricted license in any of the 50 States or U.S. Territories, a current BCLS through the American Heart Association.  Must be a U.S. Citizen, per U.S. Government guidelines.

Responsibilities

Position will include direct patient care psychiatric consultation.  Services including but not limited to:

- Comprehensive evaluations

- Review patient histories and social work evaluations, interview patients to obtain insight into their problems

- Mental status evaluations, diagnosis, detailed treatment plans

- Provide psychotherapy

- Serve as team member to coordinate evaluations, treatment planning, referrals

Qualifications

BC / BE Psychiatrist

 

U.S. Citizen

 

Valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine in

the U.S., District of Columbia, P.R., our U.S. Territory

 

Completed psychiatric residency approved by ACGME

 

Active Life Support Certification: BCLS

 

Current, unrestricted DEA Number

 

Able to work efficiently with electronic medical record
