    Humana Military Healthcare Services is offering an excellent opportunity for an Adult/General Neurologist to care for active and non-active duty soldiers at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC. 


     


    Fort Bragg is located in Central North Carolina, only 75 miles southwest of Raleigh Durham International Airport and borders the towns of Spring Lake, Southern Pines and Fayetteville. Fayetteville, only 8 minutes away, is known for its many golf courses, moderate climate,  and low cost of living. Its central location provides easy access (approximately 2.5 hours each way) to some of the most beautiful beaches in the country to the east and the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains to the west.

    Responsibilities

    Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for examination, diagnosis, and treatment of the full range of outpatients seen in the Neurology Clinic, and will serve as Neurology consultant to the Concussion Care Clinic, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Clinical services provided will be focused on evaluation and management of a wide range of neurologic disorders and diseases with a focus on return to military duty.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications include:  MD/DO, Board Certification in Neurology, successful completion of accredited internship/residency program, recent direct patient care experience (2 of last 3 years), active/unrestricted license in any of the 50 States or U.S. Territories.  Must be U.S. Citizen, as per U.S. Government guidelines.  EMR skills a must.
