    Humana Military is offering an excellent FULL TIME opportunity for a Board Certified General/Adult Neurologist to care for soldiers and adult Tricare beneficiaries at Brooke Army Medical Center, an outpatient clinic located at Fort Sam Houston Hospital, San Antonio, TX.  Fort Sam Houston is the largest military teaching hospital in the U.S.   


    Schedule:  Outpatient Clinic Hours - M-F, 7:30 to 4:30, Closed Federal Holidays; Inpatient Rounding with Residents at Ft. Sam Houston every 5th weekend-Perfect for those who enjoy teaching aspects of neurology!

    Duties/Experience:  Have sufficient experience to be able to adequately diagnose and treat diseases and injuries to include, but not limited to, the following: Migraine, epilepsy, radiculopathy, peripheral neuropathy, vertigo, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease.  Have sufficient experience to be able to adequately perform the following medical procedures, to include, but not limited to, the following: Electroencephalograms (EEGs), nerve conduction studies, and botulinum toxin injections.


    Must be Board Certified in Neurology, completion of 3 year accredited residency in Neurology, recent Adult/General direct patient care experience (2 of last 3 years), active/unrestricted license in any of the 50 States or U.S. Territories.  Must be U.S. Citizen, as per U.S. Government guidelines.
