    Vortex Solutions, LLC is teaming up with Humana Military to offer potential/ upcoming unique NP/PA opportunities at the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood in Killeen, TX! 

     

    These positions will come with a competitive compensation package to include malpractice coverage, CME, sign on bonus, retention incentives, and paid time off. Options to participate in Medical/Dental insurance and 401K plan are included.

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Responsibilities

    The upcoming need at Ft. Hood includes a total of 17 experienced Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants to fill various upcoming positions such as Soldier Readiness (pre and post deployment assessments), MEBs (Medical Evaluation Boards), Bariatrics, and UCC (Urgent Care Clinic)..

    Qualifications

     

    Qualified NP candidates must have graduated with a master’s degree from an accredited NP program, any state license, ANCC certification as a family nurse practitioner, and have a minimum of two years’ experience in the past 4 years working as a nurse practitioner. Physician Assistants must have graduated from an accredited PA program, any state licensure, have NCCPA certification, and two years post- graduation experience. BLS certification required. Bariatric and UCC candidates must also have ACLS. Qualified candidates must be a U.S. Citizen per U.S. Government Guidelines.
