Humana Military is seeking a Family or Internal Medicine physician  to provide direct outpatient care services in the treatment of Coast Guard personnel and their family members at the Clinic at the US Coast Guard Station in Baltimore, Maryland.  Candidates will be providing health care services to active duty personnel and their family members.

 

  • Outpatient Clinic, M-F  7:30 to 4:30. 
  • Very Competitive Hourly Rate
  • Medical Malpractice
  • No call, nights or weekends

 

Applicants must be BC in Family Medicine, have recent direct patient care experience (2 of last 3 years), and have an active/unrestricted license in any of the 50 States or U.S. Territories. Candidates must also have current DEA registration and BLS.  Must be a U.S Citizen, as per U.S. Government guidelines.

Responsibilities

The Contractor shall perform a full range of Outpatient Primary Care Physician's services on site, using government furnished facilities, equipment and supplies, to a variety of patients. All aspects of Outpatient Primary Care services shall be commensurate with the capabilities of the provider and the Medical Department

Qualifications

Qualified candidates shall be a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy from an accredited school in the U.S. or Canada; have a minimum of 24 months - in the past 36 months - of clinical experience, shall have completed an accredited Residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and be Board Certified; shall have a current NPI & DEA; possess a current, active, unrestricted license to practice in any State; have current Basic Life Support (“BLS”) certification through the American Heart Association (prior to start); and be a U.S. citizen as per Government guidelines.
